Heart of a Soul Surfer offers a personal perspective into the true story and life of Bethany Hamilton, a promising young surfer who discovers her purpose in life as she overcomes the loss of her arm to a 14-ft tiger shark off the coast of Kauai, Hawaii on October 31, 2003. Bethany Hamilton, the young teenage girl who made headlines for swiftly resuming her amateur surfing career after losing an arm in a 2003 shark attack in the waters off Hawaii, shares her story to hundreds of teens. The Christian teen was just 13 years old when the 14-foot tiger shark attacked her just over three years ago on the North Shore of Kauai. The shark also took a 16-inch bite out of her surfboard. Bethany new documentary, "Heart of a Soul Surfer," which is being released by Walking on Water, a Christian surf company based in San Diego, chronicles how Bethany refused to walk away from the ocean sport, despite the amputation of her left arm. Instead, the incident compelled Bethany to reach inside herself to discover her purpose in life. Emboldened by her faith, Bethany was back on her board just three weeks later. "The main focus (of the film) is the shark attack and how God has used that as a platform to give her an opportunity to share the gospel," said Mike Doyle, director of outreach for Walking on Water. The young surfer's determined story captured attention nationwide, resulting in media appearances on Oprah, the Today Show and a variety of other shows. She also wrote the bestselling biography, "Heart of a Soul Surfer," which was released in 2004.

This two-hour CBS movie from the much-loved series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman depicts the long-anticipated wedding of Dr. Michaela Quinn (Jane Seymour) to mountain man Byron Sully (Joe Lando). Any show that features the marriage of the two lead characters has built-in appeal, and this one is no exception. The wedding of Dr. Mike and Sully is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to the tiny frontier town of Colorado Springs. The time is 1870, as the attractive period sets and costumes attest. The charming scene in which the very first train--an adorable steam locomotive--pulls into the town's brand- new station will delight train buffs, and the appearance of historical figure General George Custer ups the story's action quotient. The show doesn't strive for strict accuracy, however. Its tone resembles a historical romance novel, without the bodice-ripping. Like Little House on the Prairie, Dr. Quinn glorifies the traditional American family values of a simpler, bygone era. Yet the script also incorporates modern-day concerns. (Dr. Mike doesn't want to change her name after marriage, and Sully won't wear a wedding ring.) One theme of the movie is timeless: what to do about meddling relatives when planning a wedding. All told, Dr. Quinn's worldwide following of devoted fans will find this movie full of all the romance, excitement, and drama they have come to expect. --Laura Mirsky

"Psalm 151," the 100th episode of the popular series Touched by an Angel, is a thousand-hankie watching delight. At moments it's overly sentimental and as sweet as treacle, but at the same time the viewer will find it as irresistible as chocolate cake. This episode guest stars Wynonna Judd, who surprisingly has an amazing screen presence, and Celine Dion, who should definitely keep her day job as a singer. It's Monica's (Roma Downey) 100th heavenly assignment with the help of Tess (Della Reese). They've been brought to the house of a terminally ill boy, who has several birthday wishes he wants to fulfill. He has little time left, and needs all of his wishes to happen before he goes, and it's up to our sympathetic angel duo to help the little boy make his final dreams come true. Also included on this tape is the first episode of the series, "Southbound Bus," which shows Monica's first assignment. Fans of the TV show will enjoy seeing this episode again, as it examines the origin of the characters, and they'll also see, in comparison to the rest of the episodes, how much the characters have grown. Newcomers to the series will have the wonderful opportunity to experience a heavenly introduction to Monica and Tess. The angels' first assignment is to help a rather angry and lost little boy; his mother ran away after her baby died, leaving her little boy and husband behind. The little boy is determined to find his mother again and to bring her home. With the help of Monica and Tess this may just happen. --Samantha Allen-Storey
